Challenges

I've finished Lord of Light, which I forced myself to read because I wanted to complete it for the Once Upon a Time Challenge. It's not an easy book to read but I'm glad I did it because it's a good book on many levels.

This makes me think that joining challenges are a good thing for me, because the challenges give me the push I need to complete things that I started.

I love the 3 Buddhas on top of your page! Where'd you find them? I also love all 3 of your challenges. I could use them myself. I definitely spend too much time on the internet, buy too much junk, and I've been complaining on my blog about not writing when I'd really like to. Great idea!

I particularly love "Write Those Stories That Are Floating in Your Head Challenge". It's something I definitely need to do.

I've noticed that a few fellow bloggers enjoy writing stories of their own. Perhaps we could come up with something to help motivate one another.

It took me some effort to get through "Lord of Light" as well, but I too was glad to have done it. And that book was the start of a few months of (stronger than normal) obsession with mythology that got my reading many interesting books.
